We are excited to be back for another exciting year at the ROCK! My name is Nick Ader and my paraprofessional assistant is Lisa Dick. Our first week with the students is spent getting to know them and doing some fun games that facilitate peer interaction and getting to know one another. We also use this time to go over rules and procedures. Things to remember- On PE days, please have your child wear closed toed athletic shoes and clothes suitable for 45 minutes of exercise! Thanks so much and feel free to contact me with any questions at [email protected]
Activities for this week- K and 1st will be practicing non-locomotor and locomotor Skills in Personal Space. Students will also learn about different pathways, speeds, and levels that can be used to practice these skills as well. Examples of locomotor Skills are walk, run, hop, jump, skip, slide, and gallop. 2nd thru 5th are playing a striking manipulative game called 4 Square.
